Our Story
It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. The Toronto Breast Surgery Collaborative is rooted in the belief that by working together, we can collectively make a meaningful difference in breast cancer care. Through research, education and leadership activities, we believe that our collective efforts will create an ecosystem of clinical expertise and a volume of breast cancer cases that is unparalleled in Canada.
The Toronto Breast Surgery Collaborative (TBSC) allows for more cohesive breast cancer care across the Greater Toronto Area, enhances breast cancer related training programs city-wide and will provide the foundation for impactful research informed by significantly larger and diverse data sets.
Since our founding in 2014, we have been proud to witness the growth and sustainment of our Collaborative group of breast surgeons - with a network now spanning across the country.
